Visiting Artist Workshop Series

Learn from artists around the country in our 2023-2024 Visiting Artist Workshop Series. All workshops take place at The 567 Center for Renewal in downtown Macon, GA.

Women Vases with Ginger Birdsey

March 1-3, 2024

In this 3-day workshop, Ginger Birdsey will teach you various ceramic techniques while you learn to make "women vases."  You will use handbuilding methods to build vases, sculpt heads, and combine them together. The workshop will cover surface decoration of the vases using underglazes. March 1-3, 9:00 am-5:00 pm, with lunch break 12:00-1:30 pm. There will also be an exhibit with the artist on March 3.

Workshop fee: $350 for non-members, $295 for members of The 567
